The
Combes Family Inn
houses 11 cozy, country inspired guest rooms with private baths.
All
the inn rooms are individually decorated with
antiques, hand crafted needlework, antique floral prints and
memorabilia.
There are 6 rooms in the main farmhouse, 3 of which are suites
for families with the majority having queen beds. Five units are
attached to the main house; pets are allowed in these units.
Rooms
numbered #1 to #5 are in a ground floor house attached to
the farmhouse with separate entrances. Individually controlled
heat and air conditioning. They share a porch with comfortable
outdoor furniture and have a view of Okemo Mountain, fields, and
meadows. Each room has it own charm and furnished in Vermont
pine furniture with queen, 1 full, and love seat that opens into
a single bed.
Pets are allowed in these rooms.
The
following rooms are in the farmhouse on the 2nd floor.

Suzanne and Dick’s Room- This suite has views of the inn’s
meadow. Bird’s eye maple queen bed with country quilt and small
alcove with brass trundle beds adorned with denim quilt. Can be
used for another single, or 2 small children. Bathroom has a
shower. |

Sidney’s Room- has a brass queen and trundle bed. Period
Waverly print wallpaper. Shower. Rural view of the Vermont
country side. Sidney, since long departed, was a Beagle who’s
owners rented this room from the prior innkeeper. He refused to
stay at his new home and was with us for over 16 years. |

Wildflower Suite- Has 2 rooms with large bathroom, soaking
tub and shower. A very bright corner room with brass queen bed
and twin room with 2 four poster beds. Country views. Wildflower
wallpaper. |

Sharon’s Room- (Our daughter’s room when growing up and also
her favorite room after the renovation). This is our most
romantic but smallest room. It has a small oak vanity, wrought
iron queen bed, full bath and shower. French country wallpaper
in mauve and blue. |

Maria and Wayne’s Room- Black wrought iron and wicker queen
bed with love seat that opens into a single bed. Rust and teal
wall covering and antique bureau from the Walldorf Hotel. |

Ayla’s’s Rose Garden Room- A large suite on the first floor
in the main house, this is our grand daughter’s favorite room.
Furnished with turn of the century oak double bed and furniture,
Victorian rose wallpaper in greens and pinks, 1 set of bunks(2
singles) and 1 trundle (2singles). The bathroom has a tub and
shower. Views. |

The common
rooms in the inn are large, comfortable, and cozy. The Inn does
not have a liquor license, so "BYOB". There is a refrigerator
for guest use, ice, and appropriate glasses available.
The
Barn-Board TV room, furnished in turn of the century oak.
The Inn's
Living Room offers a quiet spot to relax. Browse the many books
and magazines scattered about the cozy room. The Inn's famous
game closet can supply endless hours of entertainment.
Relax by a
roaring fire, sip your favorite wine or brew, play board games,
listen to your favorite CD, TV show, or video, or argue politics
with Bill.
